My daughter brought her baby in because he had colic. Dr Amanda was amazing and so gentle with him. A few years later I remembered how good she was when I started having lower back pain. One adjustment and I was finally able to sleep better. I will never wait that long again to get my back checked out ever again. I highly recommend her and I am a regular patient now :)

I began seeing Dr. Amanda for treatment approximately 4 years ago. I had been experiencing pain for over a year after delivering my second child. I couldn't believe the instant relief I felt after my first adjustment! I have been seeing Dr. Amanda for preventive maintenance care ever since and it has helped me maintain the pain free quality of life everyone should have. The atmosphere at Balance Chiropractic is warm and inviting. Drs. Amanda and Matt are very personable and professional and the staff are extremely friendly!

Lorraine Davis
Registered Massage Therapist
As a member of the Balance Chiropractic team since 2006, I am dedicated to a partnership with patients to achieve and maintain their wellness goals.
Prior to receiving an Honours Diploma in Massage Therapy from ICT Kikkawa College in Toronto, I trained as a professional ballerina, leaving home at a very young age to study at the Quinte Ballet School in Belleville, Ontario. During my 16 years of training/teaching ballet, I had the opportunity to study the human body at peak performance and have heightened my awareness of the physical demands endured by professional athletes. I witnessed the various stages of injury ranging from acute to chronic and discovered the benefits of manual therapy.
My practice is formed by many disciplines of massage including General Swedish Massage (relaxation), Pregnancy Massage, Sports Massage with focus on Deep Tissue and Myofascial Release. I understand the importance of a healthy and well-balanced lifestyle and the role Massage Therapy can have in achieving this.

Lisa Landry
Registered Massage Therapist
I have been with Balance Chiropractic since 2011, and am in good standing with the Ontario College of Massage Therapist Association. My previous experience in a rehabilitation setting has taught me the importance of remedial exercise. I continue to use this in my practice by customizing and implementing exercise programs to ensure recovery and healthy living.
My practice and treatment plans are designed to help each patient achieve their optimal health through various massage therapy techniques including: Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, Pregnancy Massage, Sports Massage, Cupping, Hydrotherapy, Hot stone Massage and Relaxation treatments. Education and self-care methods of stretching, strengthening, and hydrotherapy are included as part of each treatment plan.
I enjoy outdoor activities including cycling, yoga, kayaking, paddle boarding, golf, surfing, weight training and I am an avid runner who has participated several marathons. Consequently I understand the importance of a healthy lifestyle and of maintaining flexible, strong healthy joints and soft tissue. I am also a proud mother of two very active boys and enjoy spending as much time with them as possible.
I believe that Massage Therapy not only treats musculoskeletal and joint dysfunctions but that regular massage treatments help to keep your body and mind in optimal health and wellness.
