As a member of the Balance Chiropractic team for 5 years, I am dedicated to a partnership with patients to achieve and maintain their wellness goals.
Prior to receiving an Honours Diploma in Massage Therapy from ICT Kikkawa College in Toronto, I trained as a professional ballerina, leaving home at a very young age to study at the Quinte Ballet School in Belleville, Ontario. During my 16 years of training/teaching ballet, I had the opportunity to study the human body at peak performance and have heightened my awareness of the physical demands endured by professional athletes. I witnessed the various stages of injury ranging from acute to chronic and discovered the benefits of manual therapy.
My practice is formed by many disciplines of massage including General Swedish Massage (relaxation), Pregnancy Massage, Sports Massage with focus on Deep Tissue and Myofascial Release. I understand the importance of a healthy and well-balanced lifestyle and the role Massage Therapy can have in achieving this.

Elisa Davis (Hay) was born and raised in Thunder Bay before moving to Barrie after marrying her soul mate, Chris. She completed a two year compressed Registered Massage Therapy program at the local College and then moved to Moncton, New Brunswick to start her Registered Massage Therapy career. She was trained in Hot Stone Massage Therapy while working in Moncton. Elisa then moved back to Thunder Bay where she ran her own clinic and also worked part-time at the fitness club ‘Journey To Wellness’. Elisa has studied Reiki and has completed her Reiki Master level. These experiences have given Elisa the opportunity to learn and grow in a variety of areas as a Massage Therapist.
Elisa is a member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) as well as a member of the Registered Massage Therapists Association of Ontario (RMTAO). She is the proud mother of two beautiful children, Zachary and Miranda. Elisa enjoys running, hiking, and gardening in her sparetime.
I look forward to my visits for maintenance adjustments with Dr. Matt which keep me healthy and active. I am now able to participate in all activities I enjoy such as walking, swimming, tennis, and golfing with my husband.

I have been receiving treatment from Dr. Amanda since I was 16 days old. My rough birth and all that time I spent laying crooked in my Mommy’s tummy hurt my neck and back. After I was born I had difficulty turning my head both ways and wasn’t feeling very good. Dr. Amanda is very kind and gentle with me and is doing a great job fixing me up.
~Burton (2 months old)

As a mom of two young children I do a lot of lifting, bending, and carrying. The treatments I receive have really helped alleviate my neck and lower back pain and stiffness. My husband suffered whiplash in a car accident and is still being treated. He is making good progress.
